Spring in Wisconsin

Our great friends in WI come and visit us...well lets be honest...us and the Chicago LDS Temple, often and we have not made the journey up there until last weekend. Our visit was great and we had a blast playing the Wii and talking. One of the highlights was going to a marsh land area. We went on a trail and saw all kinds of wild life preparing for the spring. It was a bit cool, low 60 and cloudy, but great for walking around.

We really enjoyed our vacation. WI is very pretty if you have never been there; rolling hills, tons of green farm land but broken up with large trees and rivers, wind mills, cows, and great natural parks. I'd recommend you check it out if you never have! And if you need some great friends that are so nice and welcoming...we know the perfect couple!

Thanks Andrea for such a good time. You are excellent hosts. The kids told Denise all about the trip, focusing on the video games, and the trip to the preserve. John and I are wondering if anyone got sick? Hannah was fine the next day, and hasn't had a problem since. Maybe she IS allergic to you guys.

MY favorite part of visiting was playing with the baby, getting my baby fix. She is a doll.

John neglected to mention we (me, John, Andrea, and baby) went into town to buy some famous Wisconsin cheese, but the place we wanted to go was closed, so we got some frozen custard instead, and ate it all in the car. We didn't even tell the kids. Or her dear hubby.

We had a picnic at the preserve, and we got some subs to take for the adults. I had them swipe my rewards card to be told "We haven't used these in years." Then it crashed their cash register system. After talking to the manager, they let us just have the subs for free. Lucky us!
Love, Lajuana

What, you thought it was cold? I'm glad Hannah is better, can't wait to hear about her birthday.

Sorry about that last post, I don't know how to remove it but I made a spelling error.:) Anyways...

I love the pictures! I (We) would love to take a road trip out there to see where you live and to be in Chicago. The picture with all the kids lined up is really cute! Such shiny happy people you are!

That's ok, I don't know how to delete comments either. Come on out and see us any time. We have a guest room just waiting for anyone who wants to visit. Ok, it's really Garrett's room, but it has a queen bed and he loves any excuse to sleep on the floor with the other two kids. We'll show you around the big city and buy you some Chicago style deep dish pizza.

Looks like you all had a very nice time together! It's just beautiful at the preserve! We're hoping to make it up that way next summer in August, but it sounds like Andrea and clan won't likely be in the area. Glad like you got your baby fix with their baby!:) Your springtime pictures are so pretty! Are you still planning to come down our way next month? When are you coming? If you're still able to come we'd love to see you if you can squeeze time in with the family stuff going on! Just let us know!
Sorry to hear two of your friends are moving, that is crappy. Sorry but there just isn't a better word for it. We just changed wards and I feel like I was just getting to know some of the sisters. Now I get to try all over again. Oh well! What do you do?
